What to do and where to go in Santiago

I live in Santiago from 2008 so I don’t know very much about the city. But I can tell you about the places that should go a foreigner tourist visit in Santiago, well the places I think they should go.

First they can go to the Buin Zoo, because it is very beautiful and the animals are very interesting. Almost the places where they have the animals are very nice and represent the real habitat of the animals. They should go to see the white tiger and the seal show in the pool.

After the tourist should go to Fantasylandia it is an attractions park, the tourist should go there because is the bigger park in the country, and it is very extreme. They should go to the extreme fall game and the new one: tsunami.

If the tourist wants to go to the shopping they should go to Patronato they are a lot of places when sell clothes and very interesting things, but the most important thing is the low prices.

If the tourist are alternative persons they should go to the Eurocentro, because there sell a lot of interesting things about alternative styles and music, well I can’t recommend a shop in particular because that depends of the style.

They can go to the show Moscu on Ice, because is a beautiful show, and the protagonist are very talented and cute.

the last movie a saw!

Yesterday I was really bored so I see a movie at night. The film was about kingdoms, princess, Knight and dragons. Fire and ice was the name of the film. But is not the kind of movie about a knight who fights with the dragon to save the princess and win her love. Is about a kingdom in danger because the attacks of a fire dragon and for that the princess search a dragon slayer in the wood to save her kingdom, but theis a problem: the man was dead. However she found her son and he accept fight with the dragon. They fight together with the dragon, and when the dragon is dead the kingdom is safe again so the princess and the dragon slayer son falling in love and happily ever after.

The best thing of the movie it was the places and the music used for the scenes, the wood was very beautiful and the castle The characters were the king and the queen, his daughter and the slayer dragon, and the dragons of course. I don’t remember the protagonist names; it was a movie set in the medieval age so

the names was a little strange for me.

I saw the movie alone in my house at yesterday night, when the rest of the country saw the football game Chile v/s Venezuela. It was a good movie if you like the medieval age and the dragons it is your movie.

Transantiago!

I think the transantiago isn’t bad for me because where I live the transantiago System is very useful and fast. But in other places the transantiago don’t works very well. I can’t talk much about the pre- transantiago system because I live in Santiago since 2008, when the transantiago system it was installed. But years ago I use the pre-transantiago system in summer vacations here in Santiago. I think the transantiago is better because there are more buses and more routes but the buses are few any way. The Bip card is the best thing about the new system because the driver don’t use money in the bus and the thieves don’t assault them anymore, but for the people is more difficult because sometimes they forget the Bip card and they have troubles to use the bus.

For me the new system is good because I don’t have troubles. The buses pass near of my department and near of the university.

I don’t stay in Santiago when it started the system but I saw in the news the troubles with the transantiago. I think that now is better because there are more routes and busses and the people don’t have many troubles to travel in transantiago as the first months.

I change the frecuence of the busses and I add more busses.

A COUNTRY I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT

There exist many places where I would like to go, but my favorite place is Egypt. I would like to go to the Sahara desert because that my dream since I was a child, a long time ago.

In the Sahara desert we can find the most wonderful monuments in the world. These monuments are the pyramids, the Giza pyramid complex and its great sphinx, and the Valley of the Kings, there are more but they are not so important. I really want to know the sphinx and its mysteries, history and secrets; it is very interesting for me.

If I traveled to Egypt I would like to visit the Cairo museum, because there are the most representative things of the ancient Egypt and the sculptures of the different Pharaohs and gods. I would like to visit the different places where the Egyptologists do their research about the mummies and the beliefs of the ancient Egyptians.

I would like to study in Egypt, but I don’t want to study psychology there, I would like to study Egyptology with Zahi Hawas the most important Egyptologist in that country. He knows everything about Egypt and its mysteries, also the University of Cairo is the best in history and obviously in Egyptian history, and for that reason I would like to study there.

I hope visit Egypt some day.

FIRST TERM: GOOD AND BAD POINTS

My experiences during the first term of this year were very interesting because I learned a lot of things.

During the first term I went to neurohypnosis classes, it was a workshop here in the Universidad de Chile. I went with my classmates of psychology to the classes so it was really funny. I learned to hypnotize only with my voice and a pencil. Now a can I say to my patients: “you are very relaxed and you want to sleep” and when the patient is in trance I request her/him to do things such as to talk about something or do something with the body, for example, elevate the arms. The hypnosis was the best thing of the first term.

In psychology I had six subjects: psychopathology, neurophysiology, statistics, developing psychology, social psychology and theory and systems. My favorite subject was psychopathology because we studied the personality disorders and their classification of symptoms. Obviously the other subjects were very useful for the career but I didn’t like then much.

I didn’t practice sports, but during the first semester I went to the gym.

Challenges? I had a lot during all the term. Because in every subject we had very difficult tests and written works. We needed much time to do all the works and to study for the tests, I didn’t have much time for me but it doesn’t matter because the university is the most important now. So I didn’t see much my family or friends.

English four!!!!

blogging experience

It is the first time that I use the internet and specifically the blog for a subject, there was a very interesting experience, and very useful for me and my classmates, because I learned to write better in English, I understand how to use the grammar, not only memorize the forms, for example subject plus verb plus other thing, it was very useful for that, and I feel that I learn more than the last year and I really learn more than all the English years in the school.

I enjoy doing the blog because was a new experience and I could learn a lot of things that I didn’t know, so it was very beneficial for my English education, almost the review of the blog in class or by mail, there was beneficial for me because I could learn about my mistakes and the mistakes of my classmates.

Like I said before, the blogging experience improve it my English, but this is my impression so I hope seeing reflect in the last marks of the subject. And finally my opinion about the experience I think that use of the blog had two advantages, first give us a new education method and the second one it is the use of the new technology for the English education, use something that everybody use like the blogs.
